A few weeks ago Yong asked me if I’d like to join him at a Johnnie Walker tasting being held in Downtown LA. It was a pretty short event held in a huge loft with awesome views. We were met with hors oeuvres, one free drink, a photographer and snacks. We were then escorted into a room with special place settings for each visitor. Pretty sweet.

The event started off with a great movie on the history of Johnnie Walker and was followed by a step by step walk-through on how to drink whisky. We were also given a shot of blue label and its amazingly smooth. At $200/bottle though, we doubt we’ll be running to purchase that.
